Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol, offers a variety of shopping, vegetarian restaurants, markets, museums, monuments, the Moorish castle, the Alcazaba, and much more. Every year in August, the “Feria de Málaga” (Málaga Fair) takes place, from morning until late at night. During the day in the city centre with music and dance, in the evening with various attractions for young and old, music concerts of all kinds, as well as many other things, such as horse and carriage shows.

In Granada, with its Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada, Cordoba with the Mezquita and Seville with the cathedral and the Giralda, its “Torre del Oro” (The Tower of Gold), history comes alive, where Orient and Occident meet, caliphs and kings ruled, where palaces, gardens and cathedrals tell of the splendour of bygone times. Flamenco, which originated in Andalusia, tells us other stories, of love, passion and longing.

Just a few kilometres away from the busy coast, the quiet Andalusia begins with its white villages, reddish-brown hills covered with olive and orange trees and wild rock formations.
